WDRB's Louisville broadcast facility runs seven days a week — there is no window where the building sits empty. We handled the restroom ceramic tile and base around a live operation, sequencing the work so no area was out of service longer than a shift.
Ceramic in a wet area is decided under the tile, not on top of it. Substrate prep and waterproofing detail are what determine whether it's still tight in ten years, and that's where most of the labor went.
