Campus retail has a hard calendar: the work happens between terms or it doesn't happen. The IU Southeast bookstore combined VCT in the high-traffic and stock areas with commercial carpet in the browsing floor.
Two materials in one room means the transitions and the substrate leveling have to be right, or you feel every seam through the carpet within a semester.
